Janet Shaw
Hi! I’m Janet Shaw. Welcome to my website.
I have two passions.
The first is writing books and stories for children and young adults.
The second is helping other writers brush up their work to publication standard through my manuscript assessment service, and acting as ghostwriter for those yearning to put a book together.
Janet The Author
Right from when I was a little kid, I’ve dreamed of becoming an author one day.
And that dream has come true.
After publishing my autobiography, ‘Beyond the Red Door’, I turned my hand to writing for children and young adults.

Here’s one person’s feedback on my assessment service:
I had spent some time surfing the “web” for information on how to write a newspaper column relating to my field of expertise. I did find several sites with writing tips, however, what I really needed was someone with proven writing experience to read some drafts that I had written. After much searching I found Janet’s website. She replied very quickly to my enquiries. For a modest fee she agreed to read the articles that I had written. Once again she replied promptly. Janet made several suggestions and alterations with editing advice that made the articles a much better “read”. Her assistance was invaluable. She also gave me some excellent advice on how to proceed with my writing project. I plan to contact her in the future for further assessment and editing advice.
