		<description>Brilliant article Janet. My mum and I self published our first book together earlier this year. I have to admit, I was apprehensive about self publishing at first (will I be able to sell all these books? What will people think?) but I now look back and think it was the best thing we could have done.

The sense of control we have as well as the financial rewards have been fantastic. 

Unfortunately, there is still stigma attached to self publishing in the writing community. But as I see it (with all the possibilities of the internet) if you&#039;re not self publishing you may be getting ripped off and dare I say, you&#039;re behind with the times.</description>
